Our fight to save the planet and its people has grown more and more serious. Devastating impacts of climate change, destruction of ancient forests and the deterioration of our rivers continue to loom large.

In many ways, we’re in the fight of our lives. The inequitable system is the same one that landed us in a climate and extinction crisis. Our members across the country are fighting for our climate and our communities, and abuse of the earth’s ocean, land, air and fresh water. We’ve been campaigning for a green and peaceful future for 5 years, and we’re not stopping now.  It’s time to rise up like never before and fight for our climate and communities.

and counties in order to help face this challenge; to curb carbon pollution, adapt to the changing climate
and help educate fans and all stakeholders in sports about the benefits of protecting our environment.

      Saving Fields and forests

Ending deforestation is our best chance to conserve wildlife while defending the rights of our communities. It is also one of the quickest, most cost effective ways to slow the effects of climate change.

Forests are our life support system. They help stabilize the climate, sustain a diversity of life, provide economic opportunity, and are vital to the livelihoods of many Indigenous Peoples and rural communities.

Yet, forests and other critical ecosystems are hanging in the balance, being wiped out and converted to croplands, pasture, and plantations. Existing laws remain deeply inadequate, and the regulations in place are poorly enforced.
