A Remarkable Tournament Promoting Environmental Conservation and Sustainability.
In commemoration of World Environment Day, the Sports for Greener Environment (SFGE) initiative, in collaboration with various organizations and stakeholders, successfully organized a tournament event at the prestigious Strathmore Complex on June 10, 2023. This significant gathering aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and implement strategies for a sustainable future. The event witnessed the active participation of both men’s and women’s teams, bringing together a diverse range of athletes and enthusiasts. Environment.” This overarching goal aimed to encourage the adoption of eco-friendly practices, reduce plastic waste, and minimize carbon emissions within the sports industry and affiliated organizations.

Notable participants included the Football Foundation of Africa, the Project Management Institute Kenya, and the Millennial Environment group.
